Once a month, Kindred Learning Lab invites families to tag along with us on various field trips. These will be local or semi-local trips that combine discovery, learning, history, and the natural world. We will share a list of monthly field trips at the start of the school year. They are optional and parents can pay their own way and meet up with us.

Rooted in ABIDE (Accessibility, Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity) values, this class invites children into a space where every voice is valued and every story matters. Through books, art, play, and conversation, we explore what it means to belong, to celebrate differences, and to treat others with fairness and care. Together, we nurture empathy, build community, and practice seeing the world through many beautiful perspectives. Sensory play includes rotating sensory bins and access to gross-motor sensory equipment (swings, wall climbers, crash pads, obstacle courses, etc.)

Exploratory math is an approach to learning math that emphasizes curiosity, discovery, logic, & problem-solving. It invites exploration of mathematical ideas and helps kids develop an understanding of concepts through hands on, inquiry-based experiences. Our Spanish class is conversation-based where kids build vocabulary, confidence, and connection through songs, stories, and everyday dialogue. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to talk!
